NSW:Ute driver almost five times drink limit

SYDNEY, Dec 20 AAP - A ute driver allegedly recorded almost five times the drink-drive
limit after swerving across lanes, mounting median strips and hitting a roundabout sign
in Sydney's west.

The car also almost smashed into 10 vehicles in Hebersham on Sunday night, other motorists
reported.

Police stopped the ute on Woodstock Avenue and carried out a breath test on the man,
which gave a reading of 0.223. The limit is 0.05.

The 37-year-old driver, from Cambridge Park, also in Sydney's west, was charged with
drink-driving and driving in a dangerous manner.

He was bailed to appear at Mount Druitt Local Court on January 21.
